We didn't think it was possible to make our chocolate any more delicious. We simply add natural orange extract to our chocolate base and voila, we have Christmas Chocolate Orange.
Strawberry Rhubarb Cheesecake
This is an amazing flavour. We blend in stewed rhubarb into our cream cheese base and swirl in homemade strawberry sauce and graham cracker crust
Describing this flavour seems a bit like a confessional. Normally, we use only natural ingredients but this is an exception. We use a combination of artificial and natural orange flavours and blend in some stewed pineapple.
Are you a fan of classics? This rum raisin is amazing. We soak the raisins in rum flavour and add lots of rum extract to the base to give you this amazing boozy flavour.
Our decadent chocolate is swirled with homemade marshmallow fluff and topped with chocolate chunks and toasted almonds.

We make our ice cream with fresh and simple ingredients; fresh PEI cream and milk, sugar, egg yolks, sea salt, and pure vanilla extract.
Exactly the same great ingredients as our Vanilla. Before adding the sugar to the mix, we carefully cook it to bring out the natural caramel flavours and aromas. I feel like a scientist every time I make this and see the magic happen to the sugar.
We love our cholate ice cream and trust you will too. We make our own delicious chocolate past with dutch processed cocoa and dark chocolate. We add this to our core ingredients to make an incredible creamy ice cream.

North Pole Sundae
A holiday rendition of our classic sundae. Chocolate sauce, your favourite ice cream, and candy cane pieces are layered and topped with fresh whipped cream, more candy canes, and a hazelnut rolled wafer.
This is favourite treat in Germany. Vanilla ice cream is pressed into noodle form, topped with homemade strawberry sauce, shaved white chocolate, and a chocolate hazelnut ball.

I wonderful rendition of our spaghetti ice cream. Noodle shaped vanilla ice cream topped with candied walnuts, candied pecans, and roasted peanuts. Garnished with whipped cream, our house caramel sauce, and a cone wafer.

While Holman's Ice Cream Parlour was first established in 2016, the Holman Homestead history and legacy began over a century ago. The Homestead was first built as a parsonage in 1854. It was purchased by R.T. Holman in the 1870 and remained in that family for over a century. The Holman name was kept to honour their contribution to Summerside and PEI.
In 2016, the property was slated for demolition. Heading the plea of the local historical society, the Meister family purchased the property and repurposed it as an ice cream parlour. Holman's Ice Cream Parlour is now the top dessert destination in PEI and a jewel of Summerside.
